RSVP for New Student Orientation

Congratulations on your acceptance into 91¿ì²¥!

We would like to invite all accepted students for the New Student Orientation. This event is mandatory for all first-time college students to attend and strongly encouraged for transfer students. Failure to attend will result on a hold being reinstated on the student account and a mandatory make-up orientation appointment.

Our in-person Start Strong Orientations will take place during Summer 2026. Students will register for Start Strong in their New Student Blackboard course. Students select the one date and time that is most convenient for their schedule. The session is two hours and held at Choate Campus. Students can attend a morning session from 10:00am-12:00pm on June 2, June 15, or July 21. Students can attend an afternoon session from 3:00pm-5:00pm on July 8, August 6, or August 18.

First-time students are defined as students entering 91¿ì²¥ who have completed either their GED/TASC, high school, high school with some college credits (I.e. taken college credit while in high school), or have completed a BOCES program.

Transfer and other students are welcome to attend; however, their attendance is not required. This is a great opportunity to get to know the campus, walk your schedule, and connect with resources.

Students will be able to connect with potential classmates and current students during this event. There will also be an opportunity to take a campus tour and check out the various classrooms/lab spaces. Refreshments will be provided!

More details will be shared with students as we get closer to the event. Check your Trocaire email from Student Life!

We look forward to seeing you on campus!
